ABOUT IConSCEPT:
2024 International Conference on Signal Processing, Computation, Electronics, Power and Telecommunication (IConSCEPT) is a second premier IEEE conference of NIT Puducherry, which is scheduled to be held at the National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal, India, during July 4-5, 2024 and it is collectively organized by the Departments of EEE, ECE and CSE of NIT Puducherry.
2023 IConSCEPT was conducted successfully with IEEE Madras section as a technical co-sponsorer and its proceedings were published in IEEE Xplore. The conference aims to bring students, experts, scholars, and industry professionals from all over the world to present and discuss emerging ideas and trends in their respective research fields.
All the accepted papers presented at the conference will be submitted to IEEE Xplore for publication subject to their norms. The organizing committee invites prospective authors to submit original contributions to 2024 IConSCEPT.
ABOUT IEEE Madras section
2024 International Conference on Signal Processing, Computation, Electronics, Power and Telecommunication (IConSCEPT) is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Madras Section. IEEE Madras Section is an association of technical professionals in Tamil Nadu who has volunteered themselves in providing technology enhancement in engineering disciplines in the locality through the conference, events, technical activities.
Historically, the activities of the IEEE Madras Section started in 1973 as the Tamil Nadu Sub-section of the Bangalore Section. The Sub-section attained Section status on 28th April 1978. IEEE Madras Section Silver Jubilee Year (1978-2003), was celebrated in a grand manner, honoring the members of 25 years’ standing and invited all members to share their information & knowledge on our Section’s history. IEEE Madras Section interfaces with industries and academia through various technical and humanitarian activities. This Section organizes various activities throughout the year. Conference Proceedings will be abstracted and indexed by IEEE Xplore.
NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY PUDUCHERRY
National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal (NITPY), is an autonomous public engineering institute nestled in the scenes of Karaikal, a coastal enclave in the basin of river Kaveri in the Union Territory of Puducherry. It is one among the 31 National Institutes of Technology of India, and is declared as an institute of national importance by the Government of India, under NIT Act, 2007. The institute was established in 2010, starting its intake in the academic year 2010-11. NIT Puducherry is having a campus spread around 258 acres in the village Poovam and Thiruvettakudi of Karaikal. The institution is at a constant attempt of making endeavors to scale new heights by developing a synergy between studies, research, consulting/training activities, and placements. The institute is ranked at 136 under the category of “India Rankings 2022 - Engineering” of the 2022 NIRF rankings, released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING:
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established during the inception of the Institute in the year 2010. It offers B.Tech. Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, M. Tech. Degree program in Power Electronics and Ph.D. degree program in various fields of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The programs have structured curriculum and syllabus and are being revised time to time in order to keep abreast with the latest developments and emerging technologies. The department has state of art laboratories with the latest equipment. The faculty members are with different specializations. The research activity of the department includes both fundamental research and sponsored projects. CPRI and DST sponsored projects are in progress.
DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING:
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering offers UG, PG and Ph.D. courses, with a vision to promote research & development in the frontier areas of electronics & communication engineering and technology. The mission of the department is to enable the students to innovate and excel as eminent academicians, technocrats and entrepreneurs. The department has commissioned a new M. Tech course in VLSI Design from the academic year 2020-21. The department has numerous research scholars who are working in the institute/sponsored/funded projects of diverse research fields.
DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING:
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in 2010. Since then, the department has held a position of pride in NITPY. The Department offers B.Tech., M. Tech., M. Tech. (By Research), and Ph.D. courses. The curriculum ensures that the courses are integrated with core concepts and cutting-edge technology of IT. The department has always attracted the best engineering aspirants from all over the country, and it has consistently fulfilled the role of producing Computer Engineers ready to meet the demands of the IT world. The department is well-qualified with an experienced team of faculty and well-equipped with high-end computing facilities to support the teaching-learning activities. The Department is also actively involved in various research activities.
